NYC Comptroller Scott Stringer is hosting a conference on Monday, September 29th from 8.30 am – 12 pm on redefining work-life balance for our changing workforce and workplaces. Carrie Nathan, a member of the Retail Action Project and RWDSU Local 1-S, will speak on a panel moderated by Steve Greenhouse and Rachel Swarns of the New York Times. Come to discuss your experiences with flexibility in the workplace and strategize about how workers -- especially women -- can have greater predictability, more control over their time, and enough hours to live on. You can find more information about the #FlexTimeNYC conference here.
Join us for our fall member happy hour! We’ll have a private room for hanging out and karaoke, so be sure to bring your singing skills. Food will be provided. Bring your friends and coworkers to hang out with the RAP community!
